Are all of the characters fictional
The characters include a mix of fictional people and real individuals I have worked, swum, or studied with. Characters in New Zealand are real, while most fintech and syndicate characters are real but their names and companies have been changed.
What is going to happen next
You can find preliminary structural drafts for my second and third books within the portfolio section. I plan to share occasional highlights across our social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. I am keeping the specifics of book four confidential for now, to ensure the narrative arcs of the preceding volumes remain a surprise.
Are you really an endurance athlete and are the stories from the book related to actual events
I grew up running, competing in cross country and track at UCSD. I have completed several marathons and lots of half marathons and shorter distances. I started masters pool swimming around 2000 and open water swimming in 2022. I have swum the Catalina Channel, the 20 Bridges around Manhattan, the two New Zealand swims from the book, and many more marathon swims.
Will a movie be made out of the Scurry Series
Yes a cinematic adaptation is anticipated for this book series. The project will feature a significantly more athletic focus than franchises like Jack Ryan, Jason Bourne, or Ethan Hunt, while concentrating on themes of Silicon Valley, AI, financial fraud, money laundering, special operations and a Rom-Com.
